The TrackCoach™ ProShift High Current Relay Module contains
four separately fused channels that can each switch
up to 15 Amps of current.
While this relay module was specifically designed as a companion to our shift lights, it can be used independently in your own setup. It’s rugged enclosure and high quality automotive relays make it
the perfect choice for your high current switching needs.
Our customers used it successfully to integrate items like for example intercooler sprayer pumps, seat heater or radar detectors.

Features
4 Fused Channels
Safety is important. Because of this, we integrated a fuse with each control channel. The unit comes standard with 15 amp fuses. We used industry standard Littlefuse Series 297 automotive Mini Fuses, available from pretty much any auto parts store.
High Quality Automotive Relays
We've selected Panasonic's high capacity automotive relays, capable of switching up to 15 Amps. You can check out the relay datasheet here. (Opens in a new Window).
Rugged Enclosure - Small Dimensions
The relay module comes in a sturdy plastic enclosure with a metal baseplate.
Dimensions are: 2.28" (58mm) x 2.99" (76mm).
Robust Terminal Blocks
We have selected terminal blocks from Phoenix Contact that offer robust and easy connections to your load.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why didn't you use transistors instead of relays?
We looked into it, and to tell you the truth, transistors have some issues for high current loads. First off, you have to know if the load is coming "above" or "below" the transistor to select the correct one. Further, they dissipate a decent amount of power at higher current levels, and would require a heat sink (more complexity and more cost). When you look at the high-end driver transistors with overtemp protection and the like, they end up costing more than the relays that they would replace! Because of this, we chose to use state-of-the-art compact automotive relays to allow for the highest degree of application flexibility.
Can I use this module with things other than the TrackCoach ProShift I/O?
Sure! All it takes to use this module to drive high loads is a 12 VDC source (down to about 5 volts) and some method to switch the relay on and off. For more information on how to wire the module, see the schematic in the document section.
What is the FES return and warranty policy?
